I’m sure you’re wondering, “but why? What’s the value in it for me?”
That’s a great question.
First, let me explain why I’ve made the transition to subscriptions. Monthly subscriptions help me cover the cost of hosting an online presence, but it also provides some privacy. Behind the paywall I am free to share more intimately, and I am less likely to have my writings borrowed or used by someone else. That’s not conspiracy, it’s actually happened.
One of the most valuable things I can offer is first access to my calendar. The calendar does fill up quickly for the medium to large scale projects. I only open a few months at a time, and each of those people needs 3-6 appointments. As a member, you will receive a 24 hour early access to the Submission Form so that you are among the first proposals that I read and approve for booking.
I have also built in value that exceeds the cost of the memberships, if you choose to use it. For starters you get an automatic discount on the Easy Access type of appointments, but as I continue to migrate over to this new site, you will receive unique discounts on merch as well.
For Above the Canopy Memberships you will have access to booking anytime regardless of whether or not the books are open. While this is somewhat limited to what is available, you can start a new project anytime of year. You get the VIP pass to scheduling AND and an annual mystery box that is curated just for you.
